Job summary

Bidvest Noonan in Northern Ireland is seeking a diligent cleaner to complete scheduled cleaning tasks under supervision, ensuring all work follows safe systems and risk assessments. You will wear PPE, maintain high personal standards and report any faults to management.

This role may involve unsociable hours, weekend work, and occasional travel to other sites as required by the supervisor or management team, with training and meetings attended as requested.

Responsibilities

• Complete a schedule of cleaning tasks as directed.
• Follow all safety systems of work and risk assessments.
• Wear correct PPE at all times.
• Comply with health and safety rules for cleaning materials and equipment.
• Provide high personal standards of work, hygiene and appearance.
• Attend training events and meetings as required.
• Carry out general day-to-day cleaning (yards, carparks, bins).
• Report faults in cleaning machinery/equipment to supervisor.

Job description

• Complete a schedule of cleaning tasks, as directed by the supervisor / management team
• Ensure that all tasks are carried out in a professional manner, following all "safe systems of work" & risk assessment directions
• Wear the correct and appropriate PPE specified at all times
• Comply with all statutory Health & Safety Rules and Regulations
• Comply with all health & safety regulations for cleaning materials, equipment and buildings.
• Provide high personal standards of work/performance, personal hygiene and appearance
  
• Assist with any special duties requested, some of which may occur outside normal working hours
• Wear any items of personal protective equipment, as specified by the cleaning supervisor / manager
• Report all faults in relation to cleaning machinery/equipment to the supervisor / management team
• Report all building defects to the supervisor / management team
• Carry out any reasonable request, as specified by the supervisor / management team to attend all company meetings and training as requested.
• General day to day cleaning – Yards , Carparks , changing bins, etc
• Ensure safe work practices and procedures are followed on site
• As part of your job, you will be expected to attend training events and/or meetings and travel to other locations may be required. Local requirements will govern your patterns and locations of work.
