Job summary

PCG Commercial Limited in Blackburn (BB1) is seeking a reliable Cleaning Operative to join our team. The role is part-time with full training provided, working 4:30pm to 6:15pm on Mon, Wed and Fri, and 4:30pm to 5:30pm Tue and Thu, totaling 7.25 hours per week.

Duties include cleaning toilets and washrooms, emptying bins, replenishing consumables, vacuuming, mopping, and maintaining a hygienic environment throughout the building.

Qualifications

• Experience is not required; full training provided.
• Able to work evenings and the part-time schedule.
• Diligent and trustworthy with a good eye for cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Clean toilets and washroom facilities
• Empty bins and replace bin liners
• Replenish consumables (toilet rolls, hand soap, paper towels)
• Vacuum carpets and stairs
• Sweep and mop hard floors
• Disinfect hard surfaces and maintain a hygienic environment

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Cleaning Operative to join our team.

The role involves cleaning the communal areas of a modern office business centre in Blackburn (BB1). 4:30pm to 6:15pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday (1.75 hours per shift) and 4:30pm to 5:30pm Tuesday and Thursday (1 hour per shift) a total of (7.25 hours per week).

Duties include:

• Cleaning toilets and washroom facilities
• Emptying bins and replacing bin liners
• Replenishing consumables, including toilet rolls, hand soap and paper towels
• Vacuuming carpets and stairways
• Sweeping and mopping hard floors
• Cleaning and disinfecting hard surfaces
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and hygienic environment throughout the building

• Able to work independently once trained
