Mitie is hiring a Cleaning Operative for night shifts at Transport for London, Blackhorse Road, Greater London. 35 hours weekly, 23:00–07:00, permanent full-time position.

You will perform general and deep cleaning of stations and buildings, receive training and a full uniform, and be part of a proactive team with strong attendance and communication expectations.

Job Title: Cleaning Operative

Rate of Pay: £14.80 per hour

Position Type: Permanent

Type of Employment: Full Time

Hours: 35 hours per week

Shift Pattern: 23:00 - 07:00, 5 days a week (shifts will be subject to roster and may include weekends)

Location: Transport for London, Blackhorse Road, Greater London, England E17 6JJ

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Your duties will involve general and deep cleaning of stations and buildings.
• Training and full uniform will be provided.
• You must have good time keeping, great communication skills and immaculate attendance.

Health & Safety Responsibilities

• Follow Group and company policies and procedures at all times;
• Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment;
• Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received;
• Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and /or via your divisional incident reporting system;
