Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a honest and reliable cleaner to join a food production site in Foston, Derby. You will deliver excellent service, meet SLAs, and follow cleaning schedules to maintain high standards of hygiene and safety.

This full-time permanent role offers 37.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri, 6am–2pm) with pay of £13.27 per hour. Benefits include holiday entitlement, pension contributions, and access to wellbeing and employee discounts via MiDeals.

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained, and in safe working order.
• Meet all agreed SLAs and follow cleaning schedules.
• Build knowledge of the designated cleaning area and understand cleaning equipment and chemicals used.
• Follow Health and Safety requirements and complete all required training.
• Work effectively within a team and independently, delivering excellent customer service.

Hours: 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday 6am - 2pm
