Work Schedule:
  • 4 hrs per week over 7 days + 1 hr travel per working week
  • Thursday - Friday over 7 days
  • £12.60 per hour
  • Must be over 18 years old

Job Introduction:

We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Cleaning Operative to join our team for Scottish Fire & Rescue operating between St Andrews Fire Station KY16 8RP and Cupar Fire Station KY15 5EE.

As a Cleaning Operative with Sodexo, you will play a key role in ensuring our facilities remain clean, safe, and presentable at all times. This is an essential role that requires attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.

What you’ll do:
  • Carry out cleaning duties across the designated area, including offices, corridors, washrooms, kitchens, and other communal spaces.
  • Ensure cleaning standards are maintained and meet client expectations.
  • Follow the cleaning schedule to ensure all areas are attended to promptly.
  • Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the supervisor.
  • Maintain health and safety standards in line with company policies.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene.
