Job summary

A professional cleaning services provider is looking for a Cleaning Operative in Croydon, England. The role requires previous cleaning experience and good communication skills. Responsibilities

• Dust, damp wipe or wash various surfaces.
• Sweep floors with brushes or dust control mops.
• Mop floors with wet or damp mops.
• Hoover carpeted areas.
• Empty waste bins and transport waste material.
• Mix cleaning supplies correctly.
• Replenish consumable items as needed.
• Clean kitchens, toilets, and sinks.

We are looking to recruit a Cleaning Operative to work onsite at one of a valued customers in Croydon, CR0.

• Monday to Friday, term time only
• 3:30pm - 6pm OR 4/4:30pm - 6:30/7pm
• £12.21 per hour

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience in cleaning environment is essential
• IT literate (use of tablet, smart phone apps)
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written (English)

Key Responsibilities:

• Dust, damp wipe or wash walls, skirting boards, hand rails, ledges, window sills, radiators, lifts, doors and frames
• Sweeping floors with brushes or dust control mops
• Mopping floors with wet or damp mops
• Hoovering of carpeted areas
• Emptying waste bins or similar receptacles, transporting waste material to designated collection points
• Mix cleaning supplies in the correct quantities for safe use
• Replenish consumable items e.g. soap, toilet rolls, paper towels (if contractual)
• Clean kitchens, toilets, urinals, hand basins and sinks
