Job summary

Samsic UK is recruiting a permanent part-time Environmental Cleaning Operative to provide a professional facilities management service at St Columb Team Base, Indian Queens, St Columb.

This role is 2 days a week (ideally Tue & Th), for 2 hours each day, with a flexible approach to cover alternate shifts when required. You will receive £12.71 per hour, paid every 4 weeks. You will be supplied with tools, uniform, PPE, and the opportunity to develop your skills within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and thorough cleaning.
• Good stamina for repetitive tasks.

This position is to work for 2 days a week (ideally Tues & Thurs), for 2 hours each day. The contract is part time and flexibility is required to support client requests or support required. we do also have a alternate shift which could require your hours to flex to this shift if necessary.

You will receive *£12.71 per hourpaid 4-weekly* unless specified otherwise.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize designated areas, including but not limited to plant cleaning areas.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in cleaning work preferred, but not required
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks
• Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks

• Flexibility to cover other shifts for when staff take annual leave is preferable.
• Training will be provided, however, cleaning experience of at least 1 year is preferable.
