Job summary

Samsic UK is recruiting for a Full-time Cleaning Manager to provide professional facilities services in a large building in Southampton. The role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with shifts from 11:00 to 19:30 (flexible to business needs).

Salary is £18.00 per hour, paid four-weekly. You will manage and supervise all aspects of the operation in line with client requirements, representing Samsic UK.

Duties include but are not limited to, managing and supervising all aspects of the operation in line with the client-specific requirements, whilst representing Samsic UK.

• Adherence to all site rules and regulations, especially in line with health and safety. Inspection of all machinery and site equipment to ensure compliance with standardised health and safety.
• Recruiting cleaning staff and ensuring new staff are onboarded with the company's regulatory standards.
• Monitoring cleaning standards of the Samsic UK team and sub-contractors engaged by Samsic UK
• Monitoring staffing and consulting with your line manager on procedures.

About you

• You will be polite and have a passion for delivering a good service.
• You will be health and safety conscious when working within the workplace, considering the environment and presence of others around you.
• Flexibility to cover other shifts for when staff take annual leave
• Training will be provided, however, supervising / managing experience of at least 2 years is preferable.
• Flexibility to align yourself with the site requirements or the businesses' needs.
• Ability to develop client-orientated relationships to effectively present Samsic UK whilst working directly with the client.
• Identify additional revenue streams and help with implementation as required
