A local government authority is looking for a part-time Cleaning Assistant at Riverside Primary School in Cardiff. This role involves providing a professional cleaning service for 19 hours each week during term-time. Applicants should have the ability to lift heavy items and operate cleaning machinery. An exciting opportunity has arisen within Stirling Council for a Cleaning Assistant at Riverside Primary School, Stirling.
The post will involve providing 19 hours per week professional cleaning service on a school term-time basis between 3.15 - 7.50pm Monday - Thursday and 3.15 to 7.40 pm Friday, paid at Stirling Council Grade 1.
This is a temporary post which ceases on the 26th June 2026. However, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who wishes to gain knowledge and experience of the cleaning industry within a local government environment.
Applicants should be capable of lifting heavy items, using cleaning machinery including electric buffing machines, scrubber dryers and vacuum cleaners. They should be able to clean surfaces to head height and be prepared to work alone.
Personal protective equipment, tools and training will be provided!
Applicants will also require a basic working knowledge of IT and be willing to undertake training to allow them to utilise Stirling Council online training and human resources IT applications.
