Job summary

Premier Work Support are recruiting a Cleaning Assistant to join a York site on a part-time, temporary basis with immediate start. The role requires you to work independently on cleaning tasks across 8 hours a week, with hours Monday and Wednesday, 9.00am to 1.00pm. Duties include touch-point cleaning, sanitising, and maintaining canteens/restrooms.

Premier Work Support are currently recruiting for a Cleaning Assistant to start working at a site in York on a part time, temporary basis with an immediate start.

You will be working independently to provide cleaning services, to complete daily cleaning tasks across 8 hours a week - flexibility in hours is key.

The hours of work are Monday and Wednesday, 9.00am to 1.00pm.

Duties will include:

• Touch‑point cleaning and sanitising throughout the building.
• Cleaning the canteen and restrooms – microwave keypads/doors, dishwasher handle, cupboard & fridge doors, light & socket switches, bin lids, taps, toilet doors/flushes, soap & hand towel dispensers, etc.
• Cleaning the entrance doors, desks, keyboards, printer switches, etc. as required. Full training for this role will be given.

Please note for health and safety purposes you must have a good understanding of the English language, both verbally and written as you will be working alone without supervision.
