Job summary

Edwards Cleaning in Wakefield is hiring for an afternoon cleaner to join our friendly, family-run team. Work Monday to Friday, 3:15pm–6:15pm, with mornings free for family time or a second job. You’ll perform vacuuming, mopping, and general site cleaning while following health and safety procedures.

No prior experience is essential; commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required. We provide full induction and on-the-job training, a DBS check processed for you, and opportunities for

• Commercial cleaning experience preferred but not essential.
• Keen eye for detail and commitment to high quality service.
• Reliable and punctual.
• A positive team player.
• DBS is required (we can put candidate through DBS)

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and touch point cleaning.
• Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness across the site.
• Removing rubbish and replacing bags.
• Replenishing consumables: soap, toilet roll and hand towels.
• Following health and safety procedures and risk assessments.
• Working independently whilst following clear instructions
