A local government authority in the United Kingdom is seeking a Cleaning Assistant to provide effective cleaning services for building clients. Responsibilities include covering for staff absences, assisting with training of cleaning staff, and performing various cleaning tasks such as carpet and steam cleaning. Candidates should have prior experience in the cleaning industry and be adaptable to diverse work demands. This position requires flexibility in working hours and may involve travel across locations.
To assist in providing an effective cleaning service to building cleaning clients. To cover other cleaners during periods of holidays, sickness, staff shortages and other absences. To occasionally assist the chargehand / Site Supervisor with the training of cleaning staff. To undertake all aspects of cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning and steam cleaning, all site specification cleaning, builders cleans, recess cleaning and other cleaning not normally stated in the site specification.
