A local education authority is seeking a part-time cleaner to maintain cleanliness at a primary school. The role requires attention to detail, flexibility, and a caring nature. Responsibilities include cleaning classrooms, toilets, and common areas. Previous experience is not required. This is a term-time only position, offering 15 hours of work each week. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of health and safety practices and be committed to a safe environment.
We are looking for a cleaner for 15 hours per week. Potential start Pro Rata (15 hours/week), term-time plus one week over Easter and two weeks during the summer holidays as directed by the Site Manager.
Normal Working Hours: 15.00-18.00 hrs Monday to Friday.

The site team look after all aspects of the maintenance, cleaning and caretaking tasks of this busy and successful school. This role reports to the Site Manager. The main duties and responsibilities are shown below:
You will set and deliver high standards and have good attention to detail. You will have a good working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, be experienced in carrying out routine cleaning and be able to prioritise. You will be punctual and take responsibility to escalate potential issues and risks.
You should be able to follow direction, but will also need to work on your own initiative and with discretion.
