Job summary

Sentrex are seeking a reliable Cleaner for a client site in Salford, M5. The role is part-time, Monday to Friday, 14:30 to 17:00 during term time, start September 2026, offering £12.71 per hour. You will work in person, providing general cleaning duties and ensuring high standards of hygiene.

Benefits include training and uniform, enhanced DBS applied by Sentrex, and driving licence preferred but not essential. Previous cleaning experience is preferred (1 year).

Qualifications

• Experience in general cleaning, preferably 1 year.
• Term-time hours; reliability and flexibility a must.
• Enhanced DBS clearance required or to be applied for.
• Driving licence preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, wiping desks and mopping floors.
• Cleaning toilets and kitchen areas and emptying bins.
• Collecting crockery from desks and maintaining hygiene standards.
• Using cleaning chemicals and materials in line with methods.

About the job Cleaner

Sentrex are a leading provider of cleaning services across the North West. Due to exciting growth and expansion, we are now looking for a Cleaner for one of our clients in Salford, M5.

The Role

We are looking for a candidate working: Monday to Friday, from 14:30-17:00 (TERM TIME ONLY) to provide exceptional cleaning services.

Some of your duties will include

General cleaning duties such as

• Vacuuming
• Wiping Desks
• Mopping
• Cleaning Toilets, Kitchen
• Emptying Bin
• Collecting Crockery from Desks

You will ensure that all cleaning is provided in line with the agreed methods, including use of cleaning chemicals & materials.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Schedule

• Monday to Friday

Experience

• cleaning: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification

• Driving Licence (preferred)

School cleaner required for start of term in September 2026, working 12.5 hours a week term time only.
