Job summary

Taylor Wimpey is seeking Cleaning Technicians to maintain clean plots on site and prepare homes for customer move-in. Work with the Site Management Team on a structured cleaning programme for each development, covering plots, the site compound, and show homes with pride in health and safety.

Applicants should have a CSCS Card, cleaning experience, knowledge of cleaning chemicals, and a full driving licence as travel to various sites is required.

Qualifications

  • CSCS card holder and proven cleaning experience.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
  • Self-motivated with good communication skills.
  • High standard of workmanship and pride in the job.
  • Full, clean driving licence – travel to multiple sites.

Responsibilities

  • Clean each plot as work progresses and dispose of waste appropriately.
  • Clean properties to a high standard including garages.
  • Thorough cleaning of doors, frames, and meter boxes.
  • Internal cleaning of window frames and glass for move-in readiness.
  • Clean ceramic and sanitary wear to remove dust and grime.
  • Conduct intensive pre-move-in clean to sparkle for customers.

Job Summary

The Cleaning Technicians are responsible for the thorough cleaning of all house plots on site and preparing them for the Customer to move in. The Cleaning Technicians will work alongside the Site Management Team and will have a structured programme to follow for each development. The Technicians will be responsible for the plots on site, the site compound, and show homes. We are looking for individuals that take absolute pride in their work and can see how the cleanliness of a site contributes to health and safety and the smooth operation of the build process.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Work areas to be cleaned as work progresses and waste materials to be disposed of appropriately.
  • Cleaning of each property to a high standard including the garage if necessary.
  • External doors, garage doors, door frames and meter boxes to be thoroughly cleaned.
  • Internal cleaning of window frames and glass ensuring our homes are ready to wow our customers on move in day.
  • Cleaning of all ceramic and sanitary wear in the properties, including taps, shower screens, wastes to remove all dust and grime.
  • Intensive clean of each plot prior to the customer moving in - we want our homes to sparkle!
  • Check that each plot is immaculate and fresh for each customer to move in.
Experience, Qualifications, Technical Requirements
  • CSCS Card holder
  • Proven working experience in a cleaning role
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
  • Self-motivated and have good communication skills
  • High standard of workmanship and pride in the job
  • Full, clean driving license – will need to travel to various construction sites
