Job summary

Apleona Hsg S.P.A. is seeking a diligent Cleaner (Litter Picker) for our Burton-On-Trent site. The role focuses on maintaining clean, safe outdoor areas by collecting litter and waste across the site.

Working Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 12:00pm, you will be trained fully and supported by the team to uphold high cleanliness standards and a welcoming environment for the client’s premises.

Qualifications

• Maths and English skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Collect and remove litter from outdoor areas, pathways, car parks, and green spaces.
• Empty litter bins and replace bin liners as required.
• Report vandalism, fly-tipping, hazards or maintenance issues.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with procedures.
• Use litter-picking equipment and PPE correctly.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the site.
• Be flexible to cover team absences and holidays.
• Work independently when required.

  We’re currently looking to recruit a hardworking and reliable Litter Picker who will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our client’s premises to the highest levels. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and presentable outdoor areas by collecting litter and waste across the site.

  As an Apleona Litter Picker, we’re looking for:

  • Collect and remove litter from outdoor areas, pathways, car parks, and green spaces.
  • Empty litter bins and replace bin liners as required.
  • Report any vandalism, fly-tipping, hazards, or maintenance issues.
  • Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures.
  • Use litter-picking equipment and PPE correctly.
  • Support general grounds maintenance activities when required.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the site.
  • Flexibility to support the team during absence and holidays etc
  • Ability to work alone when required
  • Maths and English skills, speaking English to a good standard
