  • Job Title: Cleaner - Healthcare
  • Rate of Pay: £12.51 per hour
  • Contractual Hours: 6 per week
  • Shift Timings: Saturday 16:00–19:00 (3 hours) & Sunday 16:00–19:00 (3 hours)
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Type of Employment: Part Time
  • Location: North East London Foundation Trust (NELFT), Goodmayes Hospital, 157 Barley Lane, Ilford, Greater London, England, IG3 8XJ

The role involves delivering routine planned and periodic cleaning for a Mitie customer within a healthcare setting. The post holder will ensure the contract service delivery is of a high standard and meets all SLA agreements while adhering to the cleaning schedules.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver excellent service of routine planned and periodic cleaning for a Mitie customer.
  • Ensure the contract service delivery is of a high standard and meets all SLA agreements while adhering to cleaning schedules.
  • Contribute to maintaining the hospital’s reputation for high-quality soft services and look for opportunities to develop this further.
  • Build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, deliver excellent customer service, and seek ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.
  • Adhere to all Mitie Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies and procedures.
  • Work with initiative where appropriate; be reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude.
  • Be able to work to a schedule, be a team player, and strive for continuous improvements in service delivery.
Qualifications
  • Cleaning experience is preferred; training can be provided.
  • Full working knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials and approved chemicals used by Mitie.
