Job summary

Mitie Group plc. in Colchester is seeking a part-time Cleaner for 17.5 hours per week, with a shift 4:00am–7:30am at Colchester Primary Care Centre. You will ensure equipment is clean, well maintained and safe, meeting SLAs and delivering reliable service.

The role requires basic English communication, flexibility, and a can-do attitude. Training will be provided and teamwork is essential to deliver excellent customer service.

Job Title: Cleaner Rate of Pay: £13.71 per hourPosition Type: PermanentType of Employment: Part TimeHours: 17.5 hours per week Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, (4:00am-07:30am) Location: Colchester Primary Care Centre, Turner Road, Mile End, Colchester, Essex, England, CO4 5JR In your new role as a Cleaner you will ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order and meeting all agreed SLAs. Build your knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, when the work needs to be carried out and all cleaning equipment and chemicals used on the premises while following Health and Safety requirements. You will need to undertake successfully all training required to deliver the cleaning role. You will be required to work within a team and can work under their own initiative. You will need to build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivering excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.

In order to be successful in this role you will need have the ability to communicate and read basic English, previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential and have a flexible approach to the role. You will need to be open, honest, self-driven and determined. You'll need to be reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude.
