Cleaner - Digital Media Centre

15 Hours per week, 5pm-8pm

Salary: £23,492.04 FTE or £12.21 an hour

Norse, in partnership with Barnsley Borough Council, delivers a comprehensive range of first-class cleaning services across the local areas.

We are recruiting a part-time Cleaner for the Digital Media Centre. The role involves working 15 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, from 5pm to 8pm.

Responsibilities include:

• Cleaning floors and rooms, including dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming.
• Emptying bins, cleaning restrooms, and maintaining sanitation stations.
• Building relationships with on-site clients.
• Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Reporting any defects or damages.

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous cleaning or caretaking experience.
• Knowledge of basic site health & safety procedures.
• Excellent communication skills for building client relationships.
• Ability to work independently and proactively.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
