Job summary

Norse Group LTD is hiring a part-time Cleaner for Cudworth Library on maternity cover. You will perform cleaning tasks to maintain a clean and safe library environment, under minimal supervision. The role runs 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7:00am to 9:00am, with a rate of £12.71 per hour.

We value reliability, attention to detail and good communication with clients on site. Benefits include annual leave entitlement, pension scheme and sickness cover for all staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or caretaking.
• Knowledge of basic site health & safety.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships on-site.
• Confident working independently with good organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors and rooms (dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming).
• Empty bins, clean restrooms, ensure sanitation stations are stocked.
• Build positive relationships with clients on-site.
• Follow health and safety at all times.
• Report any defects or damages.

We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team on a part-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining clean and organized spaces,who values responsibility and enjoys working on their own initiative.

You’ll be working 10 hours per week,Monday to Friday 7:00am - 9:00am.

• Cleaning floors and rooms including dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming.
• Emptying bins, cleaning restrooms, and ensuring sanities stations are full.
• Building relationships with clients on site.
• Following health and safety at all times.
• Report any defects or damages.

Our Successful Candidate:

We will ideally be looking for you to demonstrate previous cleaning or caretaking experience in a previous role, alongside;

• Knowledge of basic site health & safety
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building relationships with our clients on-site
• Confident working independently to your own initiative
• Good organisational skills, with attention to detail
