Job summary

Ashton Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a reliable Cleaner for a client site in Derry/Londonderry, delivering daily cleaning tasks to maintain a welcoming environment.

The role is 12.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri, 8:45am-11:15am) with a pay rate of £12.71 per hour. This temporary to permanent position requires commitment to hours and adherence to Health and Safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Previous professional cleaning experience.
• Good attention to detail and reliable.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and use own initiative.
• Willingness to undergo AccessNI check.

Responsibilities

• Clean designated areas, including customer areas, offices, toilets and staff facilities.
• Vacuum, sweep and mop floors, dust surfaces and empty bins.
• Clean touchpoints regularly and replenish washroom supplies.
• Keep cleaning equipment clean, maintained and stored safely.
• Use cleaning products and chemicals in accordance with instructions and Health and Safety requirements.
• Complete scheduled cleaning tasks to the required standard.
• Report maintenance issues, hazards or shortages of cleaning supplies.
• Work professionally and discreetly around staff and customers.
