Job summary

Oasis Academy Immingham is seeking a dependable Cleaner to help maintain a safe, clean environment for learners across classrooms and communal areas. The role includes managing cleaning materials, ensuring high standards of hygiene, and supporting day-to-day site operations under the guidance of the site team.

Ideal candidates will have experience in general cleaning, good time management, and awareness of safeguarding requirements when working around children and young people.

Qualifications

• Experience of undertaking general cleaning duties.
• Ability to manage time effectively in order to carry out day-to-day operations and assist with the smooth running of the school.
• Awareness of the relevant legislation and guidance in relation to working around children and young people.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and security of classrooms and the site.
• Follow health and safety policies and use cleaning materials and equipment correctly.
• Work with the site team to support daily operations and keep the environment safe for learners and staff.

An opportunity has arisen at Oasis Academy Immingham for a Cleaner to join our team, taking pride in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our learners by keeping cleanliness to a high standard and undertaking necessary procedures to assist with day-to-day maintenance.

Job Overview

As part of our wider school team, you will have responsibility for the overall cleanliness and security of the school classrooms and site, having awareness of security policies, maintaining supplies of cleaning materials, and working with other members of the site team to keep the site to a standard expected by leadership and management.
