Job summary

Aramark UK is seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our Whitby team. You will maintain communal areas to high standards, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for all staff and visitors. The role involves frequent cleaning tasks and strict adherence to safety and hygiene protocols.

Actual contracted hours are 15 per week, with work on Saturdays and Sundays. You may work lone shifts or as part of a team, with training provided and a free bus to site as a perk.

• Previous cleaning experience is ideal but full training will be provided.
• Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.
• Flexible approach to duties.

Responsibilities

• Clean communal areas to high standards and complete cleaning tasks promptly.
• Report hazards and check equipment; inform management of issues.
• Remove waste and manage recycling.
• Occasionally lone work and also work as part of a team to cover daily tasks.
• Duties include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, rubbish disposal and general duties.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team in Whitby, United Kingdom. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining our facilities to the highest standards, ensuring that all communal areas remain clean, welcoming, and well-maintained. You will work with professionalism and enthusiasm, contributing to a safe and hygienic environment for all who use our facilities. This site has a zero toleranceto alcohol and drugs, testing daily

Actual contracted hours per week: 15

Working Days and Shift Pattern : Saturday and Sunday

Standard benefits plus free bus to site.

• You will be cleaning communal areas ensuring all standards are maintained throughout and all cleaning tasks are completed in a timely manner.
• Reporting hazards and checking over equipment to ensure they are in good condition, reporting any issues to management.
• Removal of waste and recycling
• You will be lone working on occasion and also be working as part of a team, working together to ensure all daily tasks have been covered.
• Duties will include sweeping, mopping, hoovering, rubbish disposal and other general duties attached to the role.
