Job summary

Kier Group in Rushden, Northamptonshire, United Kingdom, is seeking a part-time Cleaner to join our Facilities Management team. You will help maintain cleanliness and safety, with 10 hours per week and flexibility on hours.

Your day to day will include cleaning surfaces, floors and bathrooms, vacuuming, emptying waste and replenishing consumables, and following COSHH guidelines to prevent cross contamination; you will report any maintenance or pest issues to your supervisor.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience, ideally in a commercial building.
• Solid understanding of health and safety at work legislation.
• Ability to follow COSHH guidelines.
• Ability to prioritize high-risk areas and coordinate tasks.
• Reliable, self-motivated and able to work in a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Clean surfaces, floors and bathrooms to keep areas tidy and hygienic.
• Vacuum carpeted areas and wet mop hard floors.
• Empty waste receptacles and replenish consumables (hand wash, toilet rolls, hand towels).
• Follow COSHH regulations and use colour-coded equipment to prevent cross contamination.
• Report maintenance or pest issues to your supervisor promptly.

We're looking for a Cleaner to join our facilities management team based in Rushden.

Location: Rushden
Hours: 10 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Cleaner, you'll be working within the Facilities Management team, supporting them in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Your day to day will include:
