Job summary

Happy Days Nurseries in Tunbridge Wells is seeking a dedicated Cleaner to uphold the highest hygiene standards across the nursery. The role is part-time, 10 hours per week, with shifts 6:30pm–8:30pm, Monday to Friday.

You will work as part of a supportive team, maintaining a clean, safe environment for children and staff. We welcome candidates with cleaning experience or a can-do attitude, strong attention to detail, and good communication.

Qualifications

• Has prior cleaning experience or willingness to learn.
• Strong awareness of Health & Safety and hazards.
• Organised and able to plan own work and resources.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the nursery.
• Be flexible and support colleagues across all areas as required.

Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Cleaner who is committed to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness, to join the Happy Days team in Tunbridge Wells.

Our Cleaner will work 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday 6:30pm-8:30pm.

About the role:

As our nursery Cleaner, you’ll:

Be a key member of the nursery team, showing initiative and dedication ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the entire nursery.

Be flexible and supportive to the nursery team working with all staff members in all areas of the nursery as required.

Take pride in the work that you do and have a strong eye for detail.

Ensure cleaning duties are undertaken to the highest of standards.

About you:

We’re looking for someone who:

Has previous cleaning experience although this is not essential, a “can-do” attitude is more important.

Has strong awareness of Health & Safety and potential hazards.

Is organised and able to plant his own work and resources accordingly.

Is a strong teamplayer with a willingness to support colleagues and share information.

Is a good communicator and can demonstrates strong initiative and ability to think on their feet.
