A leading educational institution in St Leonards is seeking a detail-oriented Cleaner to join their team. This part-time role involves maintaining cleanliness in a school environment. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and the ability to work independently. Training and support will be provided, with a competitive salary. Location: Ark Alexandra Academy, Hastings, East Sussex
Salary: Ark Outside London Support Scale 1, Pay Point 2 (£23,723) pro rata
Actual salary: £6,394.97. Pay is spread evenly over 12 months, this does not include the cost of living increase set by the Government for 2025-26.
Hours: Part-time – 10 hours per week, between the hours of 3.30pm – 6.30pm, 39 weeks per year plus 5 weeks to be worked in the school holidays (exact timings will be discussed at interview)
Contract: Permanent

We are looking for a reliable and detail‑oriented Cleaner to join our hard‑working team who clean our two campuses. You will have your own dedicated area and will have access to a range of online training for your role.
