Job summary

FPMR Ltd is seeking experienced, temporary cleaners to join our team for several high-end residential sites in the Sheffield area. Shifts cover for permanent staff and are available on an ad hoc basis, Monday to Friday. Rate is £13.50 per hour.

Responsibilities include cleaning communal areas, entrances, reception furniture, floors, and sanitary fittings, with duties delegated by the Property Manager or Concierge. Flexibility and adherence to COSHH guidelines are required.

Qualifications

• Honest and reliable candidates who can work independently or in a team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain high cleaning standards.

Responsibilities

• To clean to a high standard all internal common areas as directed by the Property Manager.
• Clean and polish entrance doors and door furniture.
• Thoroughly clean and polish reception furniture, fittings, fixtures and equipment.
• Empty, clean and replace waste bins.
• Vacuum all carpets.
• Clean and polish mirrors and pictures
• Sweep all hard floors and spot mop.
• Thoroughly clean and disinfect all sanitary wear and fittings.
• Report any defects, damage or security concerns to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Concierge.
• Report any defective light bulbs to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Concierge.
• Clean Lifts, communal stairways, corridors, passageways and front entrances
• Dust light fittings, handrails, pictures and paintwork.
• Clean all internal ledge, covings, doors, skirting and balustrades.
• Polish communal windows
• Any other duties as required by the line manager.
• You are required to use cleaning materials which have been supplied by the Company only (please follow Health & Safety guidelines, COSHH).
• General
• You are expected to be flexible and undertake reasonable additional duties as required by the Concierge or Property Manager.
• To report any defect or health and safety concern, no matter what its nature, to the PM.
• Whilst on duty you should be of tidy personal appearance.
