Job summary

Mitie is hiring a Cleaner in Sherburn Village, England. The role is part-time (10 hours per week) at £12.71 per hour, with shifts Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday mornings. Location at Co Op, Front Street, Sherburn Village, DH6 1HD. Permanent contract, start date soon.

You will be trained to meet SLAs, follow Health and Safety rules, and work well in a small team while delivering good service to customers.

Role Description

In your new role as a Cleaner you will ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order and meeting all agreed SLAs. Build your knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, when the work needs to be carried out and all cleaning equipment and chemicals used on the premises while following Health and Safety requirements.

You will need to undertake successfully all training required to deliver the cleaning role. You will be required to work within a team and can work under your own initiative. You will need to build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, deliver excellent customer service and seek ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.

Candidate Requirements

In order to be successful in this role you will need to have the ability to communicate and read basic English, previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential and have a flexible approach to the role. You will need to be open, honest, self-driven and determined. You should be reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude.
