Job summary

Shooter's Grove Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated Cleaner to join our team, primarily at the school site. You will help provide a clean, safe environment that supports teaching and learning.

You will work collaboratively with colleagues across the Trust, follow health and safety guidelines, and demonstrate professionalism and initiative. A genuine passion for improving the school environment for children is essential.

Responsibilities

• Daily Cleaning: Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting designated areas including classrooms, corridors, and communal spaces.
• Sanitation: Thoroughly cleaning and sanitising washrooms and staff rooms.
• Waste Management: Safely emptying bins and managing refuse.
• Safety Compliance: Strictly following Health and Safety and COSHH guidelines, using equipment correctly, and reporting maintenance faults.
• Safeguarding: Acting in accordance with our strict child protection and safeguarding policies.
