North Yorkshire Council is hiring a cleaner for Ousegate Lodge in Selby. The role covers on-site cleaning duties such as dusting, vacuuming and mopping, plus cleaning sanitary fittings and sweeping the outdoor area. The position is permanent with 2 hours of work on Wednesday mornings.

Full training will be provided; hours are fixed Wednesday 10:00-12:00 with some flexibility. The role offers a competitive pay of £13.28 per hour and benefits from the Local Government Pension Scheme and generous

We have an opportunity for you to join North Yorkshire Council working at one of our buildings: Ousegate Lodge, 98 Ousegate, Selby YO8 8BL.

You will be a valued member of our team who will be reliable, dependable and have a strong work ethic. Working for NYC as a Cleaner, you will be responsible for the cleaning duties on site including dusting, vacuuming, mopping and the cleaning of sanitary fittings; general sweeping of the small outside area to ensure cleanliness around the building.

Full training will be provided, and the hours are on Wednesdays 10:00-12:00, with some flexibility on start and finish time and totalling 2 hours per week. For this you will be paid £13.28 per hour. No weekend work!
