Job summary

Mitie Group plc. in Portsmouth is seeking a dedicated part-time Cleaner to maintain cleanliness at Superdrug, 150-152 Commercial Road. You will follow cleaning schedules, operate equipment and chemicals safely, and ensure areas meet agreed SLAs.

You will join a supportive team, complete required training, and demonstrate reliability, initiative and a professional attitude while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining Health and Safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Able to work as part of a team and use own initiative.
• Willing to undergo training and maintain health and safety standards.
• Good communication in English and reliable attitude.

Job description

In your new role as a Cleaner, you will ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order and meeting all agreed SLAs. Build your knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, when the work needs to be carried out and all cleaning equipment and chemicals used on the premises while following Health and Safety requirements.

Rate of Pay: £12.71 per hour
Position Type: Permanent
Employment Type: Part time
Contractual Hours: 10 hours per week
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday (6.30 am - 8.30 am)
Location: Superdrug, 150-152 Commercial Road, Portsmouth, Hampshire, England PO1 1EX

You will need to undertake successfully all training required to deliver the cleaning role. You will be required to work within a team and can work under their own initiative. You will need to build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivery excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.

In order to be successful in this role you will need have the ability to communicate and read basic English, previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential and have a flexible approach to the role. You will need to be open, honest, self-driven and determined. You'll need to be reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude.
