Job summary

Compass Group UK&I in the Defence, Government and Energy sector is recruiting a part-time Cleaner to join our cleaning and facilities teams for Defence. The role is contracted to 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am to 2pm, with flexible shift patterns.

You will help deliver on our promise to create the best and brightest experiences for clients and customers, keeping environments safe and hygienic across military and government sites while maintaining high cleaning standards.

Qualifications

• Brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Enjoys a hands-on role with a flexible approach to working.
• Experience in a similar cleaning role is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard.
• Keep surfaces, floors and touchpoints sanitised regularly.
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies.
• Work alongside cleaning and facilities teams to maintain safe, hygienic environments.
• Perform additional cleaning duties as required, such as quick spill clean-ups.

We're currently recruiting a part time Cleaner to join our cleaning and facilities teams for Defence, contracted to Mon to Fri 8am to 2pm (30 hours per week). As one of our dedicated Cleaners, you will help to deliver on our promise to always create the best and brightest experiences for our clients and customers. Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Working alongside our cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for every client and customer
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
• Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
• Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste
• Monitoring and re-stocking cleaning supplies.

Our Ideal Cleaner Will

• Have brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail
• Enjoy working in a hands-on role
• Have had cleaning experience in a similar role, although this is not essential
• Have a flexible approach to working
