Job summary

Kindred FM is seeking hardworking cleaners for an educational facility in the Northampton area. Based at Kislingbury Rd, Northampton NN7 3QG, roles offer two shift options: 15:00-18:00 or 10:00-14:00, with pay at £12.71 per hour.

You will perform general cleaning tasks, restock supplies, and maintain hygiene standards in a school environment. Responsibilities include deep-cleaning tasks as needed, safe operation of cleaning equipment, COSHH compliance, and timely reporting of issues.

Qualifications

• Must undergo an enhanced DBS check.
• Able to perform physical cleaning tasks with reasonable adjustments.
• Able to follow written and spoken instructions and work safely on their own.
• Shift patterns are fixed and non-flexible.
• English communication ability is required though not necessarily first language.

Kindred are looking for hardworking and reliable cleaners to be based in an educational building located in: Bugbrooke.

• Pay: £12.71 per hour.




• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 15:00-18:00 OR 10:00-14:00




• Location: Kislingbury Rd, Northampton NN7 3QG




• Requirements: Successful candidates will be required to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

About the role

Responsibilities:

General Cleaning Tasks:

• Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.




• Cleaning and sanitising surfaces, touchpoints, and furniture.




• Emptying bins and ensuring waste is disposed of correctly.




• Replenishing supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls.

Specialist & Deep Cleaning:

• Carrying out periodic deep-cleaning tasks (e.g., carpet cleaning, polishing floors).




• Using appropriate cleaning materials for different surfaces to maintain standards and protect equipment.

Health, Safety & Compliance:

• Using cleaning equipment safely (e.g., buffers, steamers, vacuums), ensuring proper storage after use.




• Following health & safety regulations, including safe use of cleaning chemicals (COSHH).




• Reporting any maintenance issues, hazards, or damages promptly.

Teamwork & Independence:

• Working independently to complete tasks on time with minimal supervision.




• Supporting colleagues as needed to ensure high overall cleanliness standards.
