Job summary

Education Authority is seeking a part-time Cleaner for Earlview Primary School and Nursery in Antrim-Newtownabbey. The successful candidate will join a small team to keep the premises clean and safe for pupils and staff, carrying out routine cleaning tasks to a high standard.

Hours are typically Monday to Friday 13:30–16:30, 15 hours per week, with occasional variation to meet operational needs. Training, safeguarding compliance, and a supportive team environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of three months’ demonstrable working experience in a cleaning role.
• Mandatory training provided by the Education Authority cleaning service prior to commencing employment.
• Post involves working in educational environment and adhering to safeguarding and health & safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, dust and clean floors and surfaces to a high standard.
• Clean toilets, showers and fixtures, maintaining hygiene standards.
• Empty litter bins and manage waste in line with procedures.
