Job summary

Workchain is seeking a Cleaner for Maidstone with an immediate start. You will clean and sanitise medical equipment (beds, hoists, wheelchairs) used in home care before return to stock. The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with full-time hours and a strong emphasis on safety and accuracy.

This temporary-to-perm position offers £12.71 per hour, weekly pay, and the potential to secure permanent employment for the right candidate. An up-to-date Basic DBS is essential to start quickly.

The Role

You will be responsible for cleaning and sanitising medical equipment that has been rented for use in people's homes before it is returned for future use.

Equipment includes:

• Hospital beds
• Hoists
• Wheelchairs
• Mobility aids
• Other healthcare equipment

Due to the nature of the role, applicants must be comfortable cleaning equipment that has been used in home care environments.

Requirements

• A valid Basic DBS certificate is essential
• Reliable with a good eye for detail
• Comfortable working with medical equipment
• Able to work Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
• Available for an immediate start
