Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is hiring a Cleaner for a part-time, 6-hour weekly role at Cleveland Police Loftus Station in Loftus. The position offers flexibility with shifts on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and aims to keep all cleaning equipment and areas safe and well maintained to meet SLAs.

You will receive training, work in a team or on your own initiative, and be expected to communicate in basic English, demonstrating reliability, honesty and a professional attitude on a daily basis.

• Clean and maintain equipment and premises to keep them clean and safe.

Start date: 1st November due to clear police vetting In your new role as a Cleaner you will ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order and meeting all agreed SLAs. Build your knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, when the work needs to be carried out and all cleaning equipment and chemicals used on the premises while following Health and Safety requirements. You will need to undertake successfully all training required to deliver the cleaning role. You will be required to work within a team and can work under their own initiative. You will need to build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivering excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.

In order to be successful in this role you will need have the ability to communicate and read basic English, previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential and have a flexible approach to the role. You will need to be open, honest, self-driven and determined. You'll need to be reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude.
