Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is hiring a part-time Cleaner in Loftus, North Yorkshire, for 6 hours per week across Mon/Wed/Fri with flexible times. You will maintain equipment, ensure cleaning standards, and follow health and safety rules.

Successful candidates need basic English and reliability; prior cleaning experience is desirable but not essential. You will work in a team and provide excellent service to the on-site client, with a professional attitude and openness to training.

Job Title: Cleaner
Rate of Pay: £13.45 per hour
Position Type: Permanent
Type of Employment: Part Time
Hours: 6 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 2 hours per day , time flexible
Location: Cleveland Police, West Road, Loftus, North Yorkshire, England, TS13 4RJ

In your new role as a Cleaner you will ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order and meeting all agreed SLAs. Build your knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, when the work needs to be carried out and all cleaning equipment and chemicals used on the premises while following Health and Safety requirements. You will need to undertake successfully all training required to deliver the cleaning role. You will be required to work within a team and can work under their own initiative. You will need to build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivering excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.

In order to be successful in this role you will need have the ability to communicate and read basic English, previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential and have a flexible approach to the role. You will need to be open, honest, self-driven and determined. You'll need to be reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude.
