Job Title: Cleaner

Hourly Rate of Pay: £12.21

Contract Type: Permanent

Type of Employment: Part Time

Total weekly contractual hours: 9

Location: Smiths News, Euston Street, Leicester, Leicestershire, England, LE2 7ST

Job Responsibilities

1. Ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained, and in safe working order, meeting all agreed SLAs.
2. Build knowledge of the cleaning area, work schedules, and proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals while adhering to Health and Safety standards.
3. Complete all required training to effectively perform the cleaning role.
4. Work collaboratively within a team and independently when needed.
5. Develop positive relationships with customers, deliver excellent customer service, and seek continuous improvement.

Candidate Requirements

• Ability to communicate and read basic English.
• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Flexible approach to work.
• Open, honest, self-driven, and reliable with a professional attitude.
