Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd is seeking a reliable cleaner to provide holiday cover on an ad hoc basis in Lancaster. The role requires maintaining high cleanliness standards and working independently when needed. Hours are 7.30-11.30, with duties across canteens, offices, kitchens, and rest rooms.

Experience is preferred but not essential; we value reliability, punctuality, and a positive work ethic. Training and support will be provided, and the role offers flexible ad hoc opportunities to cover

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain designated areas including canteens, dining areas, rest rooms, welfare facilities, shower rooms, offices, meeting rooms, kitchens, and food preparation areas.
• Carry out routine cleaning duties such as hoovering and vacuuming floors, mopping, and dusting.
• Empty bins and replace liners, clean high-touch surfaces, and follow cleaning schedules.

Job description

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking

Cleaner to provide

holiday cover on an ad hoc basis. This is a flexible role, ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and can work independently when required.

Hours:

7.30-11.30

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain designated areas including canteens, dining areas, rest rooms, welfare facilities, shower rooms, offices, meeting rooms, kitchens, and food preparation areas.
• Carry out routine cleaning duties such as:
• Hoovering and vacuuming floors
• Mopping hard floor surfaces
• Dusting furniture, fixtures, and equipment
• Emptying bins and replacing liners
• Cleaning high-touch surfaces including door handles, handrails, desks, countertops, and light switches
• Follow daily, weekly, and periodic cleaning schedules to ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard.
• Use colour-coded cleaning equipment and materials in line with company procedures and hygiene standards.
• Safely select and use cleaning chemicals in accordance with COSHH regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
• Monitor cleaning stock levels and report shortages when required.
• Report any damaged equipment, maintenance issues, or building defects to the appropriate person.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is cleaned and stored correctly after use.
• Adhere to all health and safety policies and safe working practices.
• Support with additional cleaning duties as required.

About You
