Mitie Group plc. is hiring a part-time Cleaner for Loch Leven Community Campus in Kinross. The role involves delivering cleaning to a high standard, following schedules and SLAs, and supporting a safe, secure environment. Shifts run 15:45–19:45 Monday to Thursday and 13:15–17:15 on Fridays.

Ideal candidates have cleaning experience or willingness to learn, show reliability, and work well in a team. A DBS check and references will be required for the successful applicant.

Responsibilities

• Deliver routine cleaning to a high standard at Loch Leven Community Campus.

• Work to the assigned shift pattern (Mon-Thu 15:45–19:45; Fri 13:15–17:15).

Job Information

Deliver excellent service standards for the delivery of routine planned and periodic cleaning for a Mitie customer at Loch Leven Community Campus, Kinross. Ensure the contract service delivery is of a high standard, meeting allSLAagreements whilst adhering to the cleaning schedules. hours of work are 15:45-19:45 Monday to Thursday, and 13:15-17:15 on Fridays.

Main Duties

• Undertake successfully all training required to deliver the cleaning role.
• Work within a team and under their own initiative.
• Adhere to allMitie Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies and procedures.

• Maintain the designated area to an agreed level of cleanliness in line with the Contract and relevantSLAs, carrying out all daily weekly and periodic tasks as directed by the Cleaning Supervisor.
• Ensure that the service is delivered effectively and efficiently to a high standard.
• Ensure all equipment is kept clean, well maintained and is a safe working order.
• Report any maintenance requirements identified during cleaning tasks.
• Always maintain security – locking doors, following lost property procedures etc.

• Have a full knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, including the agreed work specification and time allocated to facilities.
• Have a full working knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials and approved chemicals used byMitie.
• Set a good example in terms of dress, behaviour, punctuality, and attendance.
• Ensure all Safeguarding Policies are always adhered to and raise any concerns in line with the Mitie policy.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

• Ensure contractors and external visitors comply with security and health and safety while on school premises.
• Build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivering excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.
• To undertake any other related duties which are within the job holder's capability, according to the needs of the business.
