Job summary

JDR Recruitment are recruiting for a weekend Cleaning operative to service a leisure centre. The role covers Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 6am to 1:30pm, maintaining all areas and ensuring hygiene standards are met.

Successful candidates will have previous cleaning experience and be able to work independently while providing good customer service to centre users. This is ongoing work with a pay rate of £12.71 per hour.

• Candidates must have previous cleaning experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all areas of the leisure centre including reception and public areas.
• Clean and maintain changing rooms and toilets.
• Clean and maintain gym and fitness studios.
• Clean and maintain sports halls and activity rooms.
• Clean and maintain offices and staff areas, poolside areas where applicable.
• Carry out routine cleaning duties: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and waste disposal.
• Replenish hygiene and cleaning supplies and sanitise surfaces and equipment.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and COSHH guidelines while cleaning.
• Report maintenance issues, damage, hazards or stock shortages to management.
• Assist with deep cleaning schedules and periodic cleaning tasks.
• Respond promptly to spillages and cleanliness issues to maintain a safe environment.
• Provide excellent customer service and interact professionally with centre users.

• Ensure all cleaning work is completed in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Safely use cleaning equipment and chemicals following COSHH guidelines.
• Report maintenance issues, damage, hazards, or stock shortages to management.
• Assist with deep cleaning schedules and periodic cleaning tasks.
• Respond promptly to spillages and cleanliness issues to maintain a safe environment.
• Provide excellent customer service and interact professionally with centre users.

Candidates must have previous Cleaning experience.

The working hours will be Friday, Saturday and Sunday 6am-1:30pm
