Job summary

Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions is hiring a Cleaner at the Medway PFW Depot in Gillingham. This hands-on role involves cleaning offices, toilets, floors and common areas, with a 24-hour weekly schedule of Monday to Saturday 2pm-6pm. No prior cleaning experience is required; full training will be provided.

You can work independently or with a team to maintain high cleanliness and safety standards across our sites. Pay is £12.71 per hour.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include a range of cleaning tasks, including:

• Mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
• Cleaning toilets, floors and offices
• Emptying bins and sanitising surfaces
• Litter picking within yard and car park areas

This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling, but don't worry-we'll provide all the training and support you need to succeed.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

• Friendly, reliable, and self-motivated
• Able to work independently and manage their own time
• Comfortable communicating with customers and managers
• Committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety

Previous cleaning experience is a bonus, but not essential.
