Job summary

Royal Mail is hiring a Cleaner for London Central MC and Mount Pleasant MC in London. The position is permanent, 37.5 hours per week, with a 2pm–10pm schedule option, and pays £13.85 per hour.

You will mop, vacuum, dust, clean toilets, and sanitise surfaces, with full training provided. No prior cleaning experience is required, but you should be physically fit and reliable to work on a busy site.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is a bonus but not essential.
• Candidate should be physically fit due to large building and multiple floors.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Mop, vacuum, dust and clean toilets, floors and offices.
• Empty bins and sanitise surfaces.
• Work in high profile areas; maintain a smart appearance.
• Cleaning postal internal frames; operate safely on site.

About The Role

• Mopping, vacuuming, and dusting Cleaning toilets, floors and offices Emptying bins and sanitising surfaces
• Will also work in high profile area , smart appearance is essential
• The candidate should be physically fit, as the size of the building requires a significant amount of walking and includes eight staircases.
• Warehouse experience would be advantageous, although full training will be provided.
• Sweeping and mopping operational floors and cleaning postal internal frames.
• Candidate must have the ability to read and follow written instructions as well as verbal instructions.
• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling, but don't worry, we'll provide all the training and support you need to succeed.
