Job summary

Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions in Gravesend is seeking a reliable Cleaner to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming spaces at the Gravesend Delivery Office and the nearby site. The role includes mopping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning toilets, offices, and bins, plus litter picking in yard and car park areas.

Training and support are provided, with a permanent contract and 35.5 hours per week. The shift is Mon–Sat, 9:30am–3:30pm, equipment and PPE are supplied, and there are opportunities

Location: Gravesend Delivery Office, Gravesend, DA12 2AA
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 35.5 hours a week
Schedule: Split across 2 sites, 2 minutes apart. Gravesend Delivery office and Gravesend Rural.

Monday to Saturday. 9.30am to 3.30pm.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include a range of cleaning tasks, including:

Mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
Cleaning toilets, floors and offices
Emptying bins and sanitising surfaces
Litter picking within yard and car park areas

This is a hands‑on role that involves manual handling, but don’t worry-we’ll provide all the training and support you need to succeed.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

Friendly, reliable, and self‑motivated
Able to work independently and manage their own time
Comfortable communicating with customers and managers
Committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety

Previous cleaning experience is a bonus, but not essential.
