Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is recruiting a part-time Cleaner to join our 14Forty cleaning and facilities teams in Glasgow. The role covers 17.5 hours per week with an afternoon shift pattern from Monday to Friday. You will help maintain hygienic environments and support daily cleaning operations across venues.

The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, be hands-on, and flexible. This position offers reliable hours and the opportunity to develop within a large UK employer.

Responsibilities

• Keep environments safe and hygienic for clients and customers.
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard.
• Sanitise surface areas, floors, windows, and touchpoints regularly.
• Mop up spillages quickly and efficiently when required.
• Empty and dispose bin waste.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies.

We're currently recruiting a part time Cleaner to join our cleaning and facilities teams for 14Forty, contracted to 17.5 hours per week. As one of our dedicated Cleaners, you will help to deliver on our promise to always create the best and brightest experiences for our clients and customers. • Tues: Afternoons
• Weds: Afternoons
• Thurs: Afternoons
• Fri: Afternoons

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Working alongside our cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for every client and customer
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
• Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
• Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste
• Monitoring and re-stocking cleaning supplies.

Our ideal Cleaner will:

• Have brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail
• Enjoy working in a hands‑on role
• Have had cleaning experience in a similar role, although this is not essential
• Have a flexible approach to working
