Job description

Pinnacle Group is looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Cleaner to join our facilities management team based at a large NHS site in the Fareham area.

Our Soft Facilities Management division delivers essential services to homes, schools, universities and public sector organisations - including housing providers and blue light authorities. We focus on creating clean, safe and welcoming environments, with a commitment to quality, community impact and customer care.

The site you will be working on is a Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) and the role will involve cleaning of all areas around the centre including clinics, surgeries, treatment rooms, offices and restaurants. You will be performing general cleaning duties as well as other, more specialised cleaning tasks for which training will be provided.

You will need to be detail-oriented, physically fit, and capable of working with cleaning equipment, chemicals and within sensitive environments. If you take pride in maintaining a safe and clean environment and have experience in industrial cleaning, we would love to hear from you.

This is a part time position and the hours are 7.30pm to 10pm, Monday to Friday, 12.5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities will include:
  • Cleaning tasks include damp mopping, washing surfaces, sweeping and vacuuming and touchpoints. Cleaning offices and Clinical rooms
  • Cleaning toilet facilities, and hand basins, replenishing toilet paper, hand soap & towels
  • Waste management - collection, transportation, and storage of waste for both internal and external areas
  • To work in the onsite laundry department - providing an adequate clean and constant supply of workwear to all users which can include sorting, washing, extracting, drying, ironing, folding.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and use own initiative.
Key requirements:
  • Good knowledge and experience and attention to detail in cleaning services and cleaning equipment.Prefer knowledge of COSHH, Chemicals and risk assessments.
  • Experience of buffer machine/scrubber dryer is an advantage
  • Flexible and able/happy to work overtime.

The appointment to this role will be subject to completion of a Non-Police Personnel Vetting (NPPV) Check and must have resided in the UK for the last 3 years.
