Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Cleaning Operative for a part-time role at Superdrug, Eagle Centre, Derby. The position runs on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays with a 7:00 AM start, totaling 6 hours weekly.

The role requires proven retail/commercial cleaning experience and the ability to provide right to work documents. You will undergo required training to perform cleaning duties safely and effectively and deliver excellent customer service within a team environment.

Qualifications

• Must have proven previous retail/commercial cleaning experience and must be able to provide right to work documents.
• You will need to undertake successfully all training required to deliver the cleaning role.
• Be able to build positive and productive working relationships with customers and maintain excellent customer service.

• Keep cleaning equipment clean, well maintained and safe; meet SLAs.
• Follow Health and Safety requirements and complete required training.
• Work in a team and show initiative to support customers and colleagues.

In your new role as a Cleaning Operative you will ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order and meeting all agreed SLAs. Build your knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, when the work needs to be carried out and all cleaning equipment and chemicals used on the premises while following Health and Safety requirements. You will need to undertake successfully all training required to deliver the cleaning role. You will be required to work within a team and can work under their own initiative. You will need to build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivery excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.

In order to be successful in this role you will need have the ability to communicate and read basic English, previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential and have a flexible approach to the role. You will need to be open, honest, self-driven and determined. You'll need to be reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude.
