Job summary

Apleona is hiring a Cleaner for Dingwall Academy. The role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in a school setting, with evening hours from Monday to Friday, 17:30–21:30.

The position offers benefits including holiday entitlement and cycle to work schemes, and requires PVG/security checks before employment. You will perform routine and deep cleaning, replenish supplies, dispose of waste, and report hazards while delivering high standards of cleanliness and reliability in a team

Qualifications

• Must have previous cleaning experience.
• Able to follow colour coding in cleaning tasks.
• Reliable, punctual and organised.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene within a school environment to the highest levels (BICS standards).
• Carry out routine and deep cleaning tasks as required.
• Replenish supplies and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Report hazards or maintenance issues.
• Support the team during absence and holidays.

  We’re currently looking to recruit aCleanerwho will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene within a school environment to the highest levels. You will carry out routine and deep cleaning tasks as required using a range of tools and materials to a level in accordance with BICS standards. As part of the role you will replenish supplies, dispose of waste appropriately and report hazards or maintenance issues.
