Job summary

Home Helpers - Commercial & Domestic Cleaners Ltd is seeking a reliable Office Cleaner to maintain a clean, hygienic and welcoming environment for employees, visitors and clients. The role requires independence and pride in work, with duties spanning general office cleaning, washroom maintenance and monthly deep cleaning.

The position offers 10 hours per month, typically one day per week. Additionally, the fourth week of each month includes an extended deep-cleaning session of up to 4 hours,

Responsibilities

• Vacuum and/or mop office floors.
• Dust and clean desks, work surfaces and communal areas.
• Clean kitchen and staff refreshment areas.
• Clean sinks, worktops and appliances as required.
• Empty bins and replace bin liners.
• Clean internal doors, handles and other frequently touched surfaces.
• Clean reception and entrance areas.
• Keep cleaning areas tidy and well organised.
• Clean and disinfect toilets, sinks and surrounding areas.
• Replenish toilet rolls, hand soap and other consumables.
• Ensure washroom facilities are hygienic and presentable.
• Report maintenance or plumbing issues promptly.
• Dusting and surface cleaning.
• Toilet and washroom cleaning.
• Emptying bins.
• Cleaning high-touch areas.
• Checking and replenishing cleaning consumables.
• Detailed cleaning of floors and skirting boards.
• Cleaning behind and underneath furniture where accessible.
• Detailed kitchen cleaning.
• Cleaning cupboard fronts and accessible storage areas.
• Cleaning doors, frames and handles.
• Detailed washroom cleaning.
• Removing dust and cobwebs from accessible areas.
• Cleaning other areas identified by the Office Manager.
