Job summary

SBFM is seeking a part-time Cleaner to support our retail location in Carnforth. You will help maintain floors, surfaces and facilities, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for customers and staff.

Training is provided, with uniform and cleaning products supplied. Roles suit reliable, punctual team players who can work independently and with others. Shifts include Tue & Thu 07:00–17:00, 4 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
• Good team work and customer-facing etiquette are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of store floors by vacuuming, sweeping and mopping.
• Dust and wipe down surfaces regularly to maintain a tidy atmosphere.
• Removal of litter and ensuring outdoor areas are clean.
• Clean and sanitize all sanitary facilities, including restrooms and break areas.
• Restock supplies such as toilet rolls, soap, and hand towels.
• Follow safety and cleaning protocols.

Due to our continued growth, we now have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Cleaner to join our business working in a retail environment in Oxford Street Carnforth LA5 9LG Experience is preferred but not essential as we will invest in your training and development, while giving access to education opportunities for your future progression. All uniform, products and equipment will be provided.

Shift Details

Tuesday & Thursday 07:00 - 17:00

4 hrs per week

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of store floors by vacuuming, sweeping and mopping.
